• Intern Story : Henry Lee, Living with Garbage

    I was shocked when I saw this - a huge garbage mountain was right next to the gorgeous rice fields. The smell nearly made me threw up. Aside to the trash mountain is a small slum built by paper boxes, where people pick up recycling materials from the trash for a living.For sure this is not somewhere tourists usually visit, yet it shocked me when I realised I had been enjoying the beautiful side of the country only. Behind the scenes are indeed people working, and let’s not forget about them. Travelling does not mean to consume the country.Let’s not travel to see the beautiful side of the country merely. Travel with a cause to create positive values. Travel and think how could we empower as individuals
